Aziz Fatimah Medical & Dental College (AFMDC), through its Department of Medical Education & Human Resources, organized an interactive session on Medical Ethics to enhance ethical awareness and professional responsibility among healthcare students and staff.

The session was led by Dr. Sohail Rasool, who delivered a comprehensive lecture on the fundamental principles of medical ethics, including autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice. He emphasized the critical role of ethical decision-making in clinical practice, highlighting key aspects such as patient rights, confidentiality, informed consent, and professional conduct. Through practical examples and real-life clinical scenarios, he provided participants with a clear understanding of how to approach ethical challenges in healthcare settings.

The session was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Ijaz Hussain, Trustee AFT & Executive Director, Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd., who shared his valuable perspectives on ethics from a broader viewpoint. He discussed the integration of professional ethics with Islamic teachings and cultural values.
