On Monday 24 July 2023, department of Medical Education organized an interactive session in student development program. The topic of this session was ROLE OF ETHICS AND RELIGIOUS VALUES IN MEDICAL EDUCATION. President CPSP and Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah University Lahore Prof Dr Khalid Masud Gondal was the guest speaker of this session. Session was started with the recitation and naat. Final year students, basic and clinical sciences faculty enthusiastically participated in this session. Then Dr Ayesha Sadiq HoD Medical Education gave an introductory note about ethics. Dr Khalid added that the ethics and religious values play a very important role in medical education and practice. They influence the medical professionals approach patient care, decision making and their overall behavior in health care setting. Principal AFMDC Prof Dr Muhammad Saeed also addressed and thanked all the participants and guest speakers. At the end souvenirs were given to worthy guest speaker. Dr Khalid also presented a souvenirs to Principal AFMDC. At the end Tea was served.
