Launching Ceremony of College Magazine “Kehkashaan 2018

The first launching magazine ceremony was held on 04th September 2018 in college auditorium. The session was chaired by Worthy Chairman/Board of Governor/ CEO Sitara Chemical Industries Mian Muhammad Adrees & Director Secretariat & HR Mr. Ijaz Hussain. The session was started with recitation of Holy verses by Hafiz Numan (1st Year) followed by Naat recitation by Muhammad Saqib (1st Year).

Later, after taking permission from Worthy CEO Mian Muhammad Adrees to open the house, the college Principal Maj. Gen. (R) Prof. Dr. Hamid Shafiq HI (M) welcomed the audience and read his selected poem from the magazine, “A Doctors’ Wife”. This was followed by a brief overview of compiling the magazine by Daniyal Aslam – Chief Editor for English (Final Year) and Mahnoor Mujeeb – Chief Editor (4th Year). Prof. Dr. Farida Manzur shared her selection of quotes with us. Habib-Ur-Rehman (Final Year) awed the audience with his article on “khud Shanasi say khudaShanasitak” with us.

Maira Hussain (Final Year) talked about never giving up through her read. Dr. Muhammad Saleem (HOD ENT) recited a gazal contributed by Hafiz Hamad Yaqub (Final Year) followed by Prof. Dr. Waqar Ali (Pathology Dept.) who recited a poem “A Pathologists’ Prayer”. Farwa Shaukat (3rd Year) shared her selected tidbits from college magazine “Kehkashaan” while Maham Mujeeb (3rd Year) read views on heroism through the article on “Heros are not known by their trophies”.“Zara Hatt Kay” was the title of the college magazine survey to which Hamza Rana (2nd Year) discussed in a humorous manner.

Lastly, the last poem recitation was done by Maryam Tayyab (2nd Year) of the poem “Perfection”.

The session ended by paying tribute to the efforts made by the college magazine committee.The worthy Chairman/ CEO Mian Muhammad Adrees shared his valuable thoughts with audience followed by Principal Maj. Gen. (R) Prof. Dr. Hamid Shafiq HI (M) presented the copy of college magazine to CEO, Director Secretariat & HR. This was followed by cake cutting and refreshment.
