AFMDC Alumni Event Highlights – Publication at Its Best

The Alumni Association of AFMDC, in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine, organized an engaging session titled “Publication at Its Best – Unlocking the Power of Research” at the Aziz Fatimah Hospital Auditorium, with live participation via Zoom.

 

Key Highlights:

Prof. Dr. Humayun Suqrat, HoD Community Medicine & Chairman ERC Committee, delivered a session on Drafting the Manuscript.

Dr. Uzma Sagheer, Assistant Professor & Director of Research (Community Medicine), Gold Medalist MPH, presented on Navigating Research Publication.

 

The event provided valuable guidance on ethical standards, manuscript writing, and strategies for successful publication. Alumni, house officers, postgraduate trainees, and final-year MBBS students actively participated and praised the initiative for its practical and insightful content.
