AFMDC celebrated World Physical Therapy Day with enthusiasm! This year, the WHO selected “Low Back Pain” as the theme. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed, Principal of AFMDC, joined the event to encourage participants. Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, an orthopedic surgeon, led a workshop highlighting the role of exercise in managing and preventing low back pain. Dr. Basit Mahmood, Head of the Physical Therapy Department, debunked common myths about back pain, while Dr. Maham Javaid shared practical tips on maintaining proper posture and ergonomics to avoid discomfort. The event also featured a model presentation competition where students from the Physical Therapy Department showcased innovative ideas related to their field.
