The Alumni Association, Aziz Fatimah Medical & Dental College (AFMDC) organized an insightful seminar titled “Thoracic Surgery as a Career: Scope, Opportunities & Future Prospects” at the Auditorium of Aziz Fatimah Hospital, Faisalabad.

The session featured Dr. Junaid Hussain, MBBS, FCPS (Thoracic Surgery) and an alumnus of AFMDC’s 1st Batch (2011–2016), who shared his professional journey and experience in the specialized field of thoracic surgery.

During the seminar, Dr. Junaid provided students with valuable insights into the career pathway, specialized training, professional skills, and evolving opportunities in thoracic surgery. The session also highlighted the scope and future prospects of this highly specialized surgical discipline, offering students a practical understanding of pursuing it as a career.
